Lord, today I am come seeking to abide in the WORD of Truth, the Living Anchor for my Soul.
Lord God, You alone “still me”! You alone give ballast to my steps, my “song” within strengthen, when I place my Hands, Heart and Faith in the WORD eternal.
Winds assail us, lies traverse us on all sides, where is our true Hope, our HOPE is the Lord Jesus, Savior of the World
As I step into the awaiting row boat on the Shore, will I embrace your “Call” to “Abide” to “Be Still”, trusting in Your Faithfulness. Fleeing the chaos of my own design, when I fail to pause, look up, remember, the WORDS through the Prophet Jeremiah….believing, surrendering all that is within me again today.
My faith tied to your WORD not the fringes of the heartstrings within my soul. Bruised, tossed, as I traversed the waves, the galling winds of time, change and loss, ragging clatter of distraction, yet Your Hand faithfully cupped my heart, calling ever calling me to “BE STILL”.
